Our relief chefs live locally, so can often turn up with a few hours notice if required and they don’t normally need accommodation; protecting the earning potential from your rooms.

Qualifications

Our Relief Chefs can handle any situation and all hold Level Two food hygiene, Allergen and Intolerance Training as a minimum, in addition to nationally recognised catering qualifications and many also have enhanced DBS checks.

Minimum Booking

AWOL’s minimum booking is 8 hours, so, if you need a relief chef for a single day, that can be arranged.  We are flexible and will not tie you into a stifling exclusivity contract. 

We also employ all of our relief staff; ensuring a reliable, stable team. This complies with all current employment legislation; making sure you don’t get caught out.

Our Systems

Using a sophisticated jobsheet system, chefs on placement from AWOL Recruitment receive detailed briefings; confirming their hours, directions and other information necessary for fulfilling your requirements. 

AWOL also offers a support service; enabling their relief chefs to access recipes and advice from the office at any time.
